Gray Caws – Abingdon Marathon 2013

Free Introduction to the Chi Running & Oxygen Advantage training methods

Have you all to often started a New Year with great intentions of getting fit and healthy but soon lost all enthusiasm for the programme you are following? You get distracted with other things going on in your life, it’s difficult to find the time to ‘exercise’, perhaps the programme you are following is too complicated or you just don’t enjoy it.

Discover a simple way to create good habits in everyday life that will improve your fitness, health and overall well-being.

This free workshop will give an introduction to:

  • simple everyday techniques to improve posture and balance
  • simple every-day techniques to address breathing pattern disorders such as chronic over-breathing and mouth breathing
  • straightforward relaxation techniques to practice at rest and in walking and running

You’ll also learn how these techniques can create the foundations for energy efficient, injury-free movement and improved sports performance.

With just a few simple focuses on posture and breath, discover how everyday walking can be the most powerful of exercises to improve overall health and fitness without over-overloading muscles and joints. You’ll also learn how the same principles apply to running.

You’ll understand how breathlessness during exercise is more often than not caused by over-breathing in everyday life. You’ll also see how this affects your response to stressful situations and can lead to overtraining during an exercise programme.

Get 2018 off to a great start, but more importantly motivate yourself to continue this through the rest of your life!
