Chi Running helps people of all ages and levels discover an easier, more enjoyable approach running, highlighting the importance of skill development and a mindful approach as the key to achieving success. Learn simple exercises, drills, and form focuses based on common-sense movement principles to become more energy-efficient, reduce the risk of injury and improve performance.

Chi Running has an impact on both physical and mental health. As well as improving running efficiency, it also boosts self confidence, increases mental focus and helps promote a lifetime of good health.

Adventures In Movement is unique in that our Chi coaches are also certified to teach the Oxygen Advantage Breathing method. The Oxygen Advantage and Chi Running are a powerful combination, helping to improve efficiency of movement and breathe, strengthen the body, improve aerobic fitness and reduce breathlessness.

Build the Foundations of Good Running Technique: 1 Day Workshops

Improve your running technique in this one-day workshop. Work on postural alignment, efficient breathing technique, balance exercises.

This unique workshop combines the principles of Chi Running with scientifically proven Oxygen Advantage method to reduce breathlessness, improve performance and ultimately bring a sense of enjoyment to your practice.

Morning session:

  • Welcome and introductions
  • Outdoor video observation
  • Alignment & relaxation – work on breathing and postural alignment
  • Balance
  • Co-operating with force – efficient ways to create forward momentum

Afternoon session:

  • Video observation
  • Cadence, stride-length & speed
  • Visualisations
  • Practice

Throughout the day we’ll be focusing on a mindful approach to your practice and the principle of gradual progress.

Chi Run Club

Alternate Sunday mornings 9:30–11am

Join our Chi Run Club. Includes training programme, work on breathing, postural alignment, balance and how to increase speed through relaxation.

Chi Running 1-2-1 training

Choose from a package of 4, 8, 12 and 24 Chi Running personal training sessions. Or select a monthly training programme. Great if you are training for an event. Typically, you get a good understanding of the principles of Chi Running in 4 sessions.

Yoga Triathlon

First Sunday of every month. Chi Run, dynamic yoga and restorative meditation. In association with One Yoga London.

Chi Running Advanced Technique

I just wanted to say thank you for a great workshop.
